Medan, kedannews.co.id – Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) RI mendapat dukungan moral untuk menuntaskan kasus dugaan korupsi lahan eks Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) PTPN 2 di Kabupaten Deliserdang, Sumatera Utara. Dukungan itu datang dari Aktivis 98, Bram Manurung, yang menilai langkah Kejagung sudah berada di jalur yang tepat.
Bram menegaskan, Kejagung tidak boleh setengah hati dalam mengusut perkara yang menyedot perhatian publik tersebut. Ia berharap kasus ini dapat ditangani secara menyeluruh hingga kerugian keuangan negara benar-benar bisa dipulihkan.
“Kejagung telah memulainya dengan memeriksa Ciputra dan Pemkab Deliserdang. Kasus ini sangat menyedot perhatian publik, dan harus tuntas sampai kerugian keuangan negara didapat kembali,” ujar Bram Manurung di Medan, Sabtu (24/8/2025).
Lebih lanjut, Bram meyakini Jaksa Agung ST Burhanuddin telah memperhitungkan dengan matang dampak dari proses penyidikan kasus eks HGU PTPN 2 tersebut. Menurutnya, pemeriksaan terhadap PT Ciputra dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Deliserdang merupakan langkah strategis untuk membongkar praktik mafia tanah yang selama ini merugikan masyarakat.
“Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan Kejagung sudah sangat tepat. Besar harapan masyarakat Sumut, khususnya Deliserdang, agar langkah ini bisa memberi dampak positif bagi warga yang membutuhkan lahan sebagai tempat tinggal,” ungkapnya.
Dengan penuh optimisme, Bram menilai Kejagung mampu membawa kasus korupsi eks HGU PTPN 2 ini sampai ke meja persidangan. Ia menegaskan masyarakat Sumut siap mengawal jalannya proses hukum agar kasus tersebut tidak berhenti di tengah jalan.
“Kami, masyarakat Sumut, akan mengawal kasus eks HGU PTPN 2 ini sampai tuntas,” tandasnya.
