MEDAN, kedannews.co.id – Wakil Gubernur (Wagub) Sumatera Utara, Surya, bersama Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi (Sekdaprov) Sumut, Togap Simangunsong, mengikuti rapat koordinasi (Rakor) penanganan inflasi, kemiskinan, serta menyikapi situasi pascademonstrasi, Senin (8/9/2025).
Rakor tersebut dipimpin Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Muhammad Tito Karnavian secara hybrid melalui zoom dan tatap muka di lantai 6 Ruangan Sumut Smart Province.
Usai rakor, Wagub Surya menegaskan pentingnya koordinasi lintas sektor untuk menjaga stabilitas harga dan mengatasi kemiskinan di Sumut. Ia meminta jajarannya segera berkolaborasi dengan instansi terkait hingga pemerintah kabupaten/kota.
“Segera berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait, termasuk kabupaten/kota, mengenai masalah kemiskinan dan inflasi. Pastikan pasokan dan distribusi beras hingga sampai ke masyarakat,” ujar Surya.
Menurutnya, harga cabai merah dan beras saat ini menjadi komoditas yang mendapat perhatian khusus pemerintah daerah.
Sementara itu, Mendagri Tito dalam arahannya menyampaikan perkembangan situasi unjuk rasa mahasiswa dan masyarakat di berbagai wilayah. Ia mencatat, sejak 25 Agustus hingga 7 September 2025, terjadi sebanyak 228 aksi di 35 provinsi, kabupaten, dan kota.
“Aksi unjuk rasa mahasiswa dan masyarakat yang berlangsung selama periode tersebut kini kondisinya sudah mulai melandai,” kata Tito.
Menanggapi hal itu, pemerintah pusat bersama pemerintah provinsi dan kabupaten/kota disebut telah mengambil sejumlah langkah strategis, seperti rekonsiliasi, rehabilitasi, hingga rekonstruksi.
Di sisi lain, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Republik Indonesia, Muhaimin Iskandar, menekankan bahwa kolaborasi adalah kunci dalam upaya menurunkan angka kemiskinan ekstrem di Tanah Air.
“Kemiskinan harus turun 0,86 persen per tahun agar target penurunan menjadi 5 persen pada tahun 2029 bisa tercapai,” ucap Muhaimin.
Ia menyebutkan, jumlah penduduk miskin pada 2025 tercatat sebanyak 23,85 juta orang. Sementara itu, jumlah penduduk miskin ekstrem mencapai 2,38 juta orang.
Menurut Muhaimin, pemerintah telah menyiapkan sejumlah strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan, di antaranya dengan penguatan jaminan sosial, bantuan tepat sasaran, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, serta penciptaan peluang usaha. Selain itu, strategi juga mencakup penurunan kantong kemiskinan melalui perbaikan rumah tidak layak huni, pemenuhan infrastruktur dasar, dan pemberdayaan berbasis kawasan.
“Hampir seluruh provinsi mengalami penurunan tingkat kemiskinan ekstrem,” ungkapnya.
Rakor tersebut turut dihadiri Kepala BPS, para kepala daerah se-Indonesia, jajaran kementerian, serta pimpinan perangkat daerah.
