MEDAN, kedannews.co.id – Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Sumut) Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution mengukuhkan Kahiyang Ayu sebagai Bunda Literasi Sumut sekaligus Bunda PAUD Sumut, Rabu (13/8/2025), di Aula Raja Inal Siregar, Kantor Gubernur.
Usai pengukuhan, Kahiyang Ayu juga mengukuhkan para istri bupati/walikota sebagai Bunda Literasi Kabupaten/Kota se-Sumut dan Bunda PAUD Kabupaten/Kota se-Sumut. Selain itu, ia melantik Pengurus Dewan Kerajinan Nasional Daerah (Dekranasda) Provinsi Sumut.
Gubernur Bobby menekankan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam membimbing anak usia dini serta membangun sumber literasi yang berkualitas sejak awal. Hal ini dianggap penting sebagai persiapan panjang menuju Indonesia Emas 2045.
“Kalau dulu disiapkan perpustakaan atau pojok baca untuk meningkatkan minat baca, sekarang hampir setiap orang sudah tertarik membaca. Pertanyaannya adalah, apa yang dibaca? Kita perlu menyiapkan konten bacaan yang menambah keilmuan, moral, dan keagamaan. Konten harus menarik namun tetap mendidik, karena saat ini banyak konten menarik tapi tak bermanfaat,” ujar Bobby.
Bobby meminta seluruh Bunda Literasi di Sumut untuk menyiapkan konten bacaan, fasilitas tempat membaca yang nyaman, dan program-program yang mendorong generasi muda menyukai literasi mendidik. Ia juga mendorong kolaborasi dengan berbagai komunitas masyarakat yang bergerak di bidang literasi.
Sementara untuk Bunda PAUD, Bobby berharap setiap sarana Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dapat menanamkan pendidikan akhlak sejak dini. “Ini penting untuk membentuk generasi emas menuju Indonesia Emas 2045, yang kelak akan menjadi pemimpin, penggerak ekonomi, dan menjalankan roda pemerintahan,” jelasnya.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini Wakil Gubernur Sumut Surya, Wakil Ketua Tim Pembina Posyandu Sumut Titiek Sugiharti, Sekdaprov Togap Simangunsong, Ketua DWP Sumut Dita, seluruh kepala daerah se-Sumut beserta istri, serta pimpinan OPD Pemprov Sumut.
