MEDAN, kedannews.co.id – Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Sumut) Surya berharap Forum Silaturahmi Ummi Muslimah Indonesia (Fahmi Ummi) dapat semakin memperkuat sinergi dengan Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumut dalam membangun daerah. Hal itu disampaikan Surya pada acara pelantikan pengurus baru Fahmi Ummi Sumut periode 2025–2030 di Gedung Asrama Haji Medan, Jalan AH Nasution, Kamis (4/9/2025).
Menurut Surya, Fahmi Ummi memiliki peran penting dalam bidang pembangunan, pemberdayaan perempuan, sosial, dan agama. Ia menegaskan bahwa pelantikan tersebut bukan hanya seremoni, tetapi momentum untuk meningkatkan kerja sama demi kemajuan Sumut.
“Ini merupakan momentum, bukan seremonial. Kami harap sinergi kita semakin kuat dalam membangun Sumut, khususnya untuk pemberdayaan perempuan, sosial, dan agama,” ujar Surya dalam sambutannya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Surya juga mengingatkan pengurus baru yang dilantik, yakni Aminah sebagai Ketua, Fitri I Simatupang sebagai Sekretaris, serta jajaran lainnya, agar menjaga amanah dengan penuh tanggung jawab dan keikhlasan.
“Selamat kepada pengurus yang baru dilantik. Pegang teguh amanah yang diberikan dengan penuh tanggung jawab dan ikhlas demi kemajuan umat dan bangsa,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Menteri Agama RI sekaligus inisiator Fahmi Ummi, Romo HR M Syafi’i, menyampaikan harapannya agar para anggota dapat berkiprah di berbagai bidang. Ia menekankan bahwa kader-kader Fahmi Ummi harus berani tampil menjadi pengambil kebijakan, bukan hanya pendukung.
“Saya sangat berharap Fahmi Ummi punya kader di bidang hukum. Kita akan bantu menyekolahkannya, sehingga bisa membantu perempuan dan anak-anak. Kalau ada yang ingin jadi kepala daerah, DPRD, atau DPR, saya siap membantu. Kita jangan hanya jadi pendukung, tetapi juga pemain utama,” tegas Romo Syafi’i.
Ketua Pimpinan Pusat (PP) Fahmi Ummi, Maya S Siregar, juga menambahkan bahwa organisasi ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah bagi anggotanya dalam membangun diri, keluarga, dan masyarakat.
“Kita berharap semua ummi-ummi bisa membangun diri di organisasi ini, lalu membangun keluarga, lingkungan, dan bangsa. Semoga Fahmi Ummi Sumut semakin baik ke depannya,” kata Maya.
Pelantikan ini turut dihadiri Kakanwil Kemenag Sumut Ahmad Qosbi Siregar, Asisten Deputi Ekosistem Bisnis Wirausaha Kementerian UMKM RI Christina Agustin, Sultan Deli Mahmud Aria Lamantjiji Perkasa Alam, Kadis Kominfo Pemprov Sumut Erwin Hotmansyah Harahap, sejumlah OPD Pemprov Sumut, serta tokoh agama dan masyarakat.
